CEO & Founder - Matthew Lee

Matthew is a high school senior at Riverdale Country School. As both a musician and computer scientist, he founded sustAIn as a means of bringing student voices, like his own, into the conversation about AI use in and out of school.

Jennifer Kim-Matsuzawa

Jennifer Kim-Matsuzawa is an Advisor and Investor in early-stage companies, and the former President of The People’s Music School and Global Director of Strategy at Bain & Company. Under her leadership, The People’s Music School overcame a catastrophic deficit to grow into an emergent national footprint recognized by Carnegie Hall, Billboard Magazine, ABC News and many more. She is also an accomplished pianist, with performances and honors across the US and Europe.

Hyuk-Jeen Suh

Hyuk-Jeen Suh is the General Partner of SkyRiver Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in deep tech and digital health across North America and Asia. With over 25 years of experience in consumer electronics, biotech, finance, and semiconductors, he previously led Samsung Ventures America’s east coast office and worked at J.P. Morgan in technology investment banking. He also mentors at institutions such as Harvard Innovation Labs and Yale University.

Rohan Mehra

Rohan is a high school junior at Riverdale Country School in Bronx, NY. He’s a passionate mathematician, computer scientist, competitive swimmer, and member of the high school robotics team. He joined sustAIn to bring student-athlete voices into the conversation about AI within and beyond the classroom.

Alisa Buitenhuis

Alisa is a junior at the Horace Mann School in Bronx, NY. She enjoys studying biology and computer science. She is also passionate about drawing, track, ballet, and robotics. She joined sustAIn to incorporate art into sustAIn's conversations about AI.

Siddarth is a high school junior in Bronx, NY who aspires to work in CS and engineering. He believes there are just as much harms in AI as there are benefits so educating the youth is becoming increasingly more important. As a leader of sustAIn, he plans to innovate new ideas and be able to put them into practice.

Gabriele Herr is a high school junior at Bergen County Academies. He is addicted to learning about physics, higher math, and computer science. As a lover of both challenging problems and their applications, he joined sustAIn to understand and spread the best usage of the very powerful tool of AI.

Thomas Isernhagen is currently a sophomore at Saddle River Day School, NJ. He enjoys running, mathematics, and playing piano. He joined sustAIn to spread the word about potential benefits and harms of AI.
